I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decor of the hotel. The beautiful furniture, lovely wallpaper, and elegant drapes gave it a truly delightful ambience. The hotel's general areas were also easy to navigate and very senior-friendly. It was a pleasant surprise to find grab bars in the bathrooms and well-lit hallways that made moving around with ease.
If there was one thing I would have wished for during my stay, it would be a more prominent handrail or support near the staircase. As a senior, I value safety above all else, and having that additional assistance would have made my vacation even more perfect.

Although the breakfast was not applicable, the location of the house was great. It was conveniently located near shops and the university. Plus, the beds were comfy and clean, and there was a bus stop right across the road. We were also allowed to stay past the usual check-out time.
The kitchen was a disaster - dirty sink, moldy tiles, and a fridge that looked like a science experiment gone wrong. the crockery and cutlery were filthy, and some even had chips and cracks.

The bathroom was spotless and had a nice shower. It made me feel refreshed and ready for the day as I am the type of guest who appreciates cleanliness and comfort.
The bathroom only had one shower, but I understand that some guests may not mind that.

Plus, the bus stop right across the road makes getting around a breeze.
The house and garden areas could use some attention and care.

The soft floral patterns and warm color palette created a comforting and inviting atmosphere, perfect for seniors like me. The general areas were well-kept and provided ample seating for relaxation and socializing. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with convenient ramps and handrails throughout the property.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in catering to the needs of senior guests. While the children working there were friendly, I would have liked to see more attention given to ensuring a better vacation experience for seniors.

The bathroom was awesome! I really loved the shower - it was spacious and super refreshing. As someone who enjoys a great shower experience, this was perfect for me.
The only thing I didn't love was that there was only one bathroom.

The bathroom was great, with a shower that made me feel refreshed and ready for the day. As a solo traveler, it was perfect for my needs.
Just a personal preference, but I found the lack of a bathtub a bit disappointing.

I always keep coming back to this place. The staff is amazing, they even helped me with a cold drink on my first stay. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, off-site car park, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, laundry. Perfect for my city trips.

We stayed at the Golf And Holiday Home for 5 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, with a bus stop conveniently located right across the road. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the entire place was spotlessly clean. One of the highlights was the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed for a family of 6. Before our arrival, Angela sent us all the check-in information which made the process a breeze. Also, having 3 supermarkets nearby was a bonus.
Can recommend this hotel.
